Ralph Toribio ’03
 Ralph Toribio ’03 (Central High School) graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2007 with a B.S. in Textiles, Merchandising and Design. Ralph served as a study-skills instructor in our summer Ways to A’s program and currently is on the staff of The College Crusade as an Advisor at Woonsocket High School, where he helps Crusaders in grades 9-12 stay on track for college. “My students respond to high expectations,” he says. “They want to do well in school and expect themselves to succeed.”
Ralph remembers the encouragement he received from his own Crusade counselor to pursue his college opportunities and get his FAFSA filed on time. He also appreciates the scholarship support he was awarded. “The Crusade scholarship helped me get through college,” he says. “Otherwise, I would have had to settle for less of an education or work full time while going to school.”
In his free time, Ralph enjoys making art, spending time with friends, and adding to his growing collection of retro sneakers.
