About Saturday Cru Club

For Crusaders, the place to be is Saturday Cru Club, at Johnson & Wales University, Harborside Campus. Come ready to learn a lot! You can get extra help with schoolwork, improve your study skills and life skills, learn about careers, make new friends, and talk personally with a College Crusade Advisor.

Remember, Crusaders must participate in a minimum of 10 hours of Cru Club each school year. If you attend a school that has an Advisor, you can go to your afterschool Cru Club or to Saturday Cru Club. If your school does not have an Advisor, you must attend Saturday Cru Club.

College Crusade Advisory
Meet one-on-one with a College Crusade Advisor and get the advice you need to stay focused on your college goals. Our Advisors will motivate you to achieve!

Study-Skills Workshops
Learn the skills you need to be a better student. Topics include the basics of better studying, mastering tests, writing reports, taking notes, improving your memory, reading for success, and managing your study time. You’ll gain valuable skills that will help you in school every day!

Career Speakers
Here’s your chance to hear directly from professional people what their career fields are like. We offer speakers from health care, business, education, engineering & technology, law, and many other fields. Learn more about the world of work and see what professions interest you! Financial Literacy Workshops
For high school Crusaders only. This workshop gives you a solid introduction to the real world of money. You’ll learn about making and managing money, saving for the future, spending wisely, using credit cards responsibly, and million other things you need to know about money.
